Gold Medal Beer Dinner at Avery Brewing Company

The Brett Pack consists of 5 brewers from some of the top craft breweries in the country. After a trip to Belgium in 2006, brewing buddies Adam Avery – Avery Brewing Co, Rob Tod – Allagash Brewing Co, Sam Calagione – Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, Tomme Arthur – Lost Abbey Brewing Co and Vinnie Cilurzo – Russian River Brewing Co were dubbed “The Brett Pack” for their unabashed love of the wild yeast Brettanomyces. During this 5-course meal, all five brewers will present two beers to be paired with each course (for a total of 10 beers). A welcome beer of choice will also be provided. Not only will you be treated to a first class meal with some amazing food and rare beer pairings, you will also get a detailed walk through from an all-star cast of brewery founders along with a lot of great stories, which bubble out during the evening, for a truly unforgettable experience. Tickets go on sales Monday, 9/19. $125. Limit 2 per person. Beers being poured include: Avery - El Gose, Callipygian, Ceratio. Russian River - STS Pilsner 2009, Consecration 2008, Beatification. Dogfish - Namaste, Flesh & Blood 2015, Black and Blue. Allagash - Sixteen Counties, James Bean, Farm to Face. Lost Abbey - Port Pils, Ad Idem, Bret Devotion.

Seafood Social: A charm-to-table event

Join us and the National Aquarium for a chef-studded evening of delicious, sustainably-sourced seafood and craft beers. You’ll enjoy small plates from five premier area chefs, including Spike Gjerde of Woodberry Kitchen, Chad Wells of Victoria Restaurant Group, our very own Zach Dick of Chesapeake & Maine, and executive chefs from the Aquarium’s partners Harbor Market Catering and The Classic Catering People.

The two-hour event also features a tasting flight of inventive brews including SeaQuench Ale, the official beer of the National Aquarium. Your first drink is on the aquarium, with one free drink ticket for use at a cash bar of select beers and wines. Tickets include Aquarium admission.

Members single ticket: $40, two for $75

Non-member single ticket: $50, two for $95

The brothers are back!

BeerAdvocate founders Todd & Jason Alström are returning to coastal Delaware for a brew day and want to stick around to meet you over beers!

As a long-time sponsor of the Extreme Beer Fest, Dogfish gets to brew a festival beer with the Alström brothers each and every year. The brew for the 2017 festival will happen on 8/31 at the brewpub. Afterwards, Sam and the Alströms will head next door to Chesapeake & Maine for Happy Hour. We'll have some muchies, a special appetizer menu & even a vintage keg from Sam's Stash that we'll be filling crowlers from! Have you heard? The brewpub has a brand-spanking-new Crowler machine! For those in the know, you are saying, ‘heck yeah!’  For those who need a bit of background - a crowler is a 32-ounce can that we fill on the spot with one of our fresh-from-the-taps Dogfish beers. Join us for our 2nd annual fall fundraising dinner, Harvest, Harmony and Hops. This fall fundraising event celebrates the successes of the summer season, built around the idea of fusing mouthwatering food and tantalizing beer offerings. Harvest, Harmony & Hops is the perfect way to welcome in the fall season, while meeting community members who also share a love for the arts and our mission at the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation. Sponsors include SoDel Concepts, Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales, and Coastal Tented Events. Must be 21 to attend. $85 of each ticket is tax deductible.
