The last day of my Italy trip is winding toward a close as I head back to Rome, then back home to Delaware.
I had an awesome time in Florence meeting with my friends Mauro and Michelle who own the design company Studio Lipparini. They do amazing architecture, furniture, industrial and graphics design work for clients around the world. He's the designer and she's the producer. I am working with them to design the brand shield for the cask beer engines at Eataly NYC. It is still a work in process, but this picture shows the some progress that we made...
Brewing and traveling with Leo and Teo was a blast and the thyme pale ale we brewed in Rome together is fermenting nicely. We got to forage for herbs with our pal Kuaska - The ultimate Italian beer evangelist. And of course we ate and drank too much.
Nothing wrong with mixing business with pleasure.
