Cheers!
A toast to the third annual Weekend of Compelling Ales & Whatnot festival. Today we did two small batch brews and drank a lot of great beers paired with yummy food, which was really nice. But my favorite component of this event is watching hundreds of Dogfish enthusiasts come together, hang, and get to know each other. You are the people who have made our company matter. To steal a line from 'Gone With the Wind,' we have always relied on the kindness of strangers. The difference being the folks we hung with today aren't strangers. They are our extended family and they are the foundation of our growth and success. As my co-worker Connie Eloquently put it as she checked in about 400 people at registration. "Everyone was really nice and there wasn't even one jerk.". Amen. Thanks to everyone who made the trip and thanks for your ongoing support. Together we are heavy!
Sam,
My name is Chris Willey and I work at Beebe Medical Center as a surgical technician. I am also a Blackhawk Flight Medic with the Maryland Nantional Guard. A few months ago my co-workers held a going away party at the Greene Turtle for me as I was preparing to go to Afghanistan for a year. It was relayed to our group by a server handing out some beverages that you had bought the round for us but had left already. I never forgot the gesture and I just wanted to say thank you for your support. I am a platoon sergeant and I have some of the best flight medics in the world working with me and when I told everyone of your generosity they were impressed. So don't be surprised in a year when a bunch of flight medics invade Dogfish land and sit to eat and drink. I thank you for your time and again for your thoughtfulness. Sincerely, SSG Christopher Willey, Afghanistan
