Here's a photo of The Gate - the killer beer bar in Brooklyn that has been turning locals on to craft beer for a decade and a half run by our pal Bobby.
Dogfish hosted a homebrew demonstration (with Paul from Blind Bat Brewery - who makes and sells beer off a Sabco homebrewing system just like we did when we started) followed by a beer and cheese pairing event at the gate on Sunday with our friend Burk Bilger as part of The New Yorker Festival. It's the first time in the history of the fest that a beer presentation was included in the program so we were proud to be there and we served great beers from Captain Lawrence, Allagash, Dogfish, and Sierra Nevada.
Speaking of our friends in Chico - The Life & Limb and Limb & Life beers we brewed together should be hitting the market in the coming weeks. Ken and I will be hosting beer dinners featuring these beers at Ana Mandara on Nov 8th in San Fran, CA and at Bobby Flay's Bar Americain on nov 15th in NYC. The menus look amazing and we will be featuring cask-conditioned version of the beers at these events.
Black Thai, the imperial stout Bryan and I brewed with Thai Basil and Blackberries should be on at our Rehoboth Pub in a couple weeks and our Wet Hop American Summer - (brewed with all wet hops) will be on tap there this weekend.
We are in our new spacious offices here at the Milton brewery and encourage any and all hardcore beer enthusiasts to come for a tour of our expanded Milton Production facility.
We just began selling beer in South Carolina last week and our distributor partners - Lee Distrubuting have done an awesome beer of getting the beer out - they sold a whole truckload in three days. So we hope our SC friends can get out there and find our beers.
Oh yeah, Chicory Stout, our winter seasonal is being bottled next week and should hit the market soon.
Wow - we've been busy.
Keep on truckin! sam
Speakin of the winter brews...our bar down in Fort Walton Beach, Florida is going to be the lucky owner of a keg of World Wide Stout. Yae us!!! Problem for us here in the south is the availability of tap handles. Currently we sell 60, 90, and Midas touch. The 60 has a tap handle the 90 does not and of course down our way midas is in the bottle...My worry is that we will need tap handles for our winter line...would also love to have the Chicory. Anyway, what can I do to obtain what our bar needs to let the locals know what we have of yours? The distributor seems to be out of your support gear yet doesn't mind selling us your product but I have very little POS or real support for what we are trying to accomplish. I really just need a 90 tap handle and a WWS when we receive it. Would love anything we could use to promote your beer as well. Any help or contact info would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

Can't wait for the Chicory and the next release of 120.
I would have loved to make teh track out for the homebrewing demo, sounds like it was a great time. I did get my tickets for the NY release of Life & Limb and Limb & Life. Stoked to try out these new brews and hopefully meet you and Ken!
Cheers!
