Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in downtown Rehoboth Beach announces "Dinner With Marcel."
"Dinner With Marcel" is a special dinner series highlighting the creativity of Sous Chef Marcel Lavallee and the beers & spirits of Dogfish Head.
The 3-course dinner will be offered on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at the brewpub. Each menu will three original recipes and a selected Dogfish Head beer paired with the main course. Marcel will be on-hand to talk about the menu and the beer with guests.
Marcel Lavallee was raised in the fine state of New Hamshire and attended the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. He graduated in 2003. After graduation, Marcel worked at restaurants a handful of restaurants before working as a candy makeer at Van Otis Chocolates in Manchester, NH! Marcel has been with Dogfish Head since early 2006 and has been at the helm in the Dogfish Head kitchen since the fall of that year. Marcel loves the creativity that comes along with events like 'Dinner With Marcel" and the monthly Dogfish Head Beer Dinner Series. He's hoping to have dinner with you soon!
"Dinner with Marcel" begins on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 and will continue on the first and third Wednesday of the month. The price of the 3-course meal is $27.00 per person and includes a selected Dogfish Head beer with the main course. The menu is available between 4pm and 10pm (regular menu items will also be available). Reservations are not necessary.
