I have been searching for Thoebroma since the original release was announced. I finally got it today. It was not at all what I had expected. I had read the reviews but somehow still expected a deep chocolate stout flavor. The amber color is beautiful. The spice note from the annato and that little touch of heat from the chilies make this brew so..... so...... delicious?!?!??
The cocao powder and cocoa nibs, well, I'm just not catching them.
Only slightly disappointed, but I still like it.
I can't wait to share one with my brother this weekend over a bowl of Seafood Gumbo!!
