we're getting more exciteder by the minute for sea witch

so there i was all burned out after years of doing hr in the banking industry. then one day, it happened...dogfish seeks an hr director. can i get a what what? i submitted, i waited, i hoped, i prayed, i prayed harder, i asked others to pray to whatever they prayed to with equal fervor. finally, it happened. the call. the butterflies. the interview. the unicorns and rainbows! for me dogfish was like hello kitty and a super duper shot of espresso combined! i was hooked! then finally, i had the good fortune of being asked to join dogfish in the fall of 2006. did i jump at the chance? hell's yeah! i had the good foresight to recognize that if i moved and took this chance that i could once again work in an environment where i could believe in what i did, what we did, believe in leadership and believe that my contributions had meaning. it's been so awesome. our coworkers are incredible, every last one. our beer is wonderful, but working in an off-centered environment is the absolute best. do i thank my lucky stars? every day.
