This Brewpub Exclusive is a strong DFH interpretation on the classic Munich Lager. It was brewed by our pub manager Jason and Head Brewer Bryan in traditional fashion with German Pils, German Munich, Biscuit, and Special B malts.
The slight departures from rigid stylistic tradition include boosting the ABV just a bit and using American hops (although Warrior and Liberty both have Noble lineage).
The aroma is full of bready, nutty, malt character with just a hint of spicy hops. The blend of Lager yeasts delivers a crisp clean finish and the dry, complex malt profile shines above a smooth subtle bitterness.
Way too drinkable for 7.5%, this beer will definitely get you ready for the chilly Fall weather coming our way. Enjoy this lager with some Wood-grilled and Roasted Chicken or Antelope Sliders!
