Mahopma is an Indian food-inspired pale ale brewed with Maris Otter and Crystal malts, Columbus, Cascade, and Simcoe hops, curry spices, and golden raisins. Maris Otter gives this pale ale rich malty sweet backbone with a light nuttiness. The blend of American hops gives this beer a pungent citrusy funk that perfectly compliments the curry spice. The golden raisins add a tangy fruit sweetness in the middle which gives way to a dry curried hop spiciness. This complex ale is a great pairing with the hummus platter, wood-grilled wings, or fish & chips.
