This deep amber hued APA, or American Pale Ale, was brewed with pale ale, munich, crystal, and (a dash of) black malts along with “Experimental X”, Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo, Palisade, and Willamette hops. It was then fermented with our house Doggie ale yeast. This one is pretty straight forward, and tasty. The aroma is dominated by citrusy American hops, with bready and toasty malt taking over in the flavor. The finish is crisp with a touch of bitterness. This is the perfect beer for pairing with a burger or the fish and chips.
APA will be tapped on Monday 7/15/12 and will be avaialble until it is gone.
