Admiral Fluckey's Lager was brewed with 51% Pilsner malt and 49% Chardonnay grapes, then fermented with Champagne yeast. It islow (~15 IBU’s) on the bitterness scale, a bit sweet, about 7-8% abv, with the slight acididity of a champagne.
Admiral Fluckey was the first commander of the USS Dogfish (submarine) and just passed away on July 2, 2007.
Due to the limited availability of this beer, we are sorry that we cannot offer growlers of the Admiral Fluckey's Lager.
