This beer is a Neo-Berliner Weisse brewed with wheat and pilsner malt to 4.5% abv. It was given one of the lowest hop additions for any Dogfish Head beer to date coming in at just 5 IBU's!
After the hop additions, the beer is fermented with fresh peaches.
The beer is tart due to the presence of lactic acid along with a subtle fruit profile from the peaches.
Note: This beer will be going into Full Production at the Milton brewery... Festina Peche becomes our Summer Seasonale beer with a 6/1/07 release - look for it in full distribution at that time.
In the meantime, due to the limited availability of this beer, we are sorry that we cannot offer growlers of the brewpub's Festina Peche..
