It's a Dogfish Head and Burley Oak brew day

Sunday, November 22, 2015

Today we’re at Burley Oak Brewing Company in Berlin, MD - just a quick 45-minute drive south from our Milton brewery.

I’m here with Dogfish Brewmaster Tim, and Bryan and Aaron of Burley Oak to brew ‘Pants are Cumbersome’, a kettle sour brewed with local rye, wheat, beach plums and a house-strain of lacto. The brew will clock in at 6% ABV with tart notes, and will be available in about a month.

Even better? Both Dogfish Head and Burley Oak will be serving it at our booths at the Extreme Beer Fest in Boston this spring.

We’re stoked to be here today and even more excited for tonight’s happy hour. From 5-7 p.m. we’ll be here pouring some special Dogfish brews (Festina Lente and Olde School Barleywine) alongside our Burley Oak brethren. We hope to see you later tonight - cheers!
