With the first episode launching on Wednesday, October 28th on First We Feast, each episode features Sam teaming up with a special guest who is at the forefront of his respective field to debut an experimental beer. "As a brewer I have always loved exploring the outer-limits of what a beer can be. This exploration makes us better at everything we do at Dogfish,” Calagione says. “You've probably heard that old adage that every person has at least be one good novel in them. I believe in something more provocative and delicious than that. I believe every person has at least one great beer in them. They just need a fearless brewer like me to coax it out of them. I am stoked this show lets me do just that with some of the most creative and talented people in the world."

With the first five guests announced, Dogfish and First We Feast will reveal the final guest in the coming weeks. The episode guide is listed below:

Mario Batali

Inspired by the wastED movement to reduce food waste in America, the legendary chef meets Sam in Chicago to create an exclusive Eataly ale that utilizes bruised fruit, overripe tomatoes, and other produce that isn’t sold to customers, but is still perfect for brewing. Sam then tests their socially conscious experiment on the unsuspecting public in NYC. Beer for good!

Chris Bosh

When you're making beer with a 6'11" NBA All-Star, you've got to go big or go home. Utilizing a state-of-the-art PicoBrew Zymatic homebrewing system, Sam and Chris brew inside a stretch Hummer while driving around Los Angeles looking for ingredients inspired by Chris' love of Texas BBQ and his globe-trotting off-season adventures. With a little help from Kevin Bludso of Bludso's BBQ, they discover the magic of a pitmaster-to-brewmaster alley-oop.

Z-Trip

Its craft-beer, remixed, when world-class DJ and producer Z-Trip heads to Dogfish Head headquarters in Milton, Del., to make a crazywitbier cranked to 11 with some of his favorite culinary ingredients. After Sam shows off his freestyle beer-making skills, Z returns the favor by debuting a brand-new track for a very special audience at the brewery...

Ken Marino & Joe Lo Truglio

Sam meets up with his old college buddies—who now happen to be famous Hollywood actors starring in shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Wet Hot American Summer—for a palate-crushing IPA tasting featuring one insanely hoppy beer. As they battle the intense bitterness, the guys attempt to film an improvised commercial for this extra- crazy beer.

Mac Miller

Though he's just 23 years old, Mac Miller is an old soul and a seasoned hip-hop veteran. As the rap star celebrates his first major-label release, GO:OD AM, Sam meets him in New York City to share a special whiskey-infused brew that's built to age well— like a great album. With the 12%-ABV ale acting as a truth serum, Mac offers some brutally honest (and hilarious) feedback on Sam's craft-beer rap group, The Pain Relievaz.
